HISTORY OF THE MANITOBA ALPACA CLUB

The first alpaca breeder started in Manitoba in October of 1993. By July of 1997 we increased to five breeders, enough to begin the Manitoba Alpaca Club. The potential for growth in this exciting new industry is enormous, as very few people have yet to even meet an alpaca, much less know what they are all about. Our club’s purpose is to introduce you to “ALPACA”, the world’s finest livestock investment.

2010 Keystone Alpaca Classic

The 2010 Keystone Alpaca Classic was once again a huge success at the Keystone Agricultural Centre of Excellence in Brandon Manitoba. Registrations exceeded expectations and even some inclement weather didn’t dampen the good spirits of all that made it to the show. It was the 10th anniversary of our show this year and it proved to be the best one yet! See you all again next year in 2011.
